Terralytiq and Schneider Electric Scaling Supplier Decarbonization

Terralytiq joins SE Ventures Accelerator to Scale Supplier Decarbonization in Manufacturing

Austin, TX – Terralytiq, a leading AI-climate platform, has joined the inaugural cohort of SE Ventures’ Accelerator Program. This highly selective program from SE Ventures, the $1B+ stage-agnostic venture capital firm backed by Schneider Electric, will equip founders with capital, industry expertise, global customer insights, and go-to-market strategies needed to scale AI technologies in climate tech & industrial tech and address specific market challenges.

As part of the accelerator program, Terralytiq will receive a $100K SAFE investment with the opportunity for additional funding during its next priced round, and access to Schneider Electric’s extensive ecosystem that includes over 650,000 service providers, 4,500 EcoXperts, and over 45,000 system integrators and developers. The program will focus on commercialization, including product validation through direct customer engagements and expert mentorship from SE Ventures and Schneider Electric subject matter experts.

Over 5,000 manufacturers globally have set science-based, board-level targets to cut Scope 3 emissions, which account for 70-90% of the company footprint. A 2024 survey of the largest 200 companies conducted by the Scope 3 Peer Group revealed that most companies face persistent challenges with effective supplier engagement (82%), accurate emissions data (68%), and actionable roadmaps to decarbonize the supply chain (62%).

Terralytiq is deploying an AI-powered technology that tackles these challenges head-on. The platform streamlines supplier engagement by focusing on the supply chain hotspots that matter, automatically calculating supplier product carbon footprints (PCFs) and providing actionable initiatives to decarbonize supplier facilities. "Partnering with SE Ventures will be a pivotal moment as we scale our platform to meet urgent demand from Scope 3 programs to finally solve long-standing challenges with data accuracy and supplier engagement.," said Will Glazener, Co-founder at Terralytiq.

Procurement teams at buyers can use these PCFs as a metric that informs low-carbon sourcing decisions and supply chain investments that result in emission reductions. Product teams at suppliers use these PCFs as a way to differentiate their low-carbon offering in otherwise commoditized equipment markets, like HVAC units, automobile parts, industrial machines, chemicals, building materials, and electronics.

"Terralytiq's unique approach to engage with a very large set of suppliers to collect product carbon footprint data is a promising breakthrough that fits perfectly with our track record of delivering technical validation, product-market fit, early commercialization, and scale-up support," said Gregoire Viasnoff, Global Head of Accelerator Program at SE Ventures.
